Similar to some processes in my previous piece Loop, I am also again thinking in terms of musical blocks making up various episodes in which the musical material and textures are not necessarily related. One of the musical elements in the piece is based on a pattern in which note values either steadily increase, e.g. from quaver to crotchet to dotted crotchet, etc., and vice versa.
